Festivals are a summer tradition for most people, the music, the drink and the company make them addictive and so present in our culture. In a time where the world is so uncertain your classic summer festival in the best medicine the doctor could prescribe. Festival fashion comes from the younger generation blurring the lines between garments and creating a fun, lightweight look. They adapt styles to make festival styles a commercial reality and turn it into a trend by rights. However they get their inspiration from the music and pop culture they all worship so much, I mean who doesn't admire stars killer wardrobes? The 4 key components of a festival style look in my opinion are:

1. A Back-To-Basics Look -The bloggers have made this famous by taking a beach-side approach to fashion and styling your fave summer basics. Fitted tank tops and easy-going t-shirts with stripes or graphics covering them have become staples at a festival. It reflects a laid back and DIY kind of look that has become very popular recently - represented in the rise of vintage clothing.

2. The Bralette - This is probably the most prominent trend that has come from the festival style, it has evolved to nights out as well as it a hot, sweaty field. Youth have moved something that was previously considered as just initiates into a top. They are blurring the lines between what was considered intimate and whats considered day wear. The lace and delicate nature of a bralette gives the sense of sensually revealing while still covering.

3. The Bodysuit - Personally this is my favourite 'staple item' to come out of festival style. It creates such an effortless and put together look when all you did is chuck it on in the morning. Embroidery, Florals, Mesh and High leg are very popular styles within this department over the last year and now.

4. The Mesh Top - This theme defiantly carries on with the theme of revealing but covering. The idea of material that shows through is perfect for a festival goer who doesn't stand still. This paired with a bralette has become a signature loo for the summer and a club night.
