The Power of Quartz Crystals

For my latest perfume project, we are focusing round the idea of quartz and their attributes to make fragrance a more meaningful purchase and more of an experience. We are looking at the individual characteristics of the quartz and using the idea of sharing quartz scented with the perfume with loved ones to pass on the benefits of each rock. For many off the rocks they symbolise something that they strive for or want- for example, lemon quartz is meant to be for creativity and happiness. This changes the way we think of perfume and makes it a sharing experience as before it was thought of as a purely personal experience - we aim to disrupt the fragrance industries pattern of what they pair with fragrance. I mean scented body creams are just a bit overdone in my opinion. So when researching this quartz I looked into what they symbolise and also what crystals/quartz help what:

Smoky Quartz- Grounding and Protection by enhancing survival instincts and protecting from negative energy.

Lemon Quartz- Creativity and Happiness by increasing creativity, optimism, clarity of thought, organisation and a general sense of well-being.

Tourmalated Quartz- Grounding, Balance, Insight, Protection, Healing and Luck by acting as a good luck charm and balancing out Ying and yang energies.

Rose Quartz- Love, Tranquility, Protection, Balance, Compassion and Self-Discipline by dissolving emotional wounds, fears, resentments and circulates a divine loving energy throughout the entire aura.

Rock Crystal Quartz - Healing and Spirituality (the most powerful healing stone on earth) by being an energy amplifier as it develops spirituality and connection to the universe beyond self.
